Your Dental Hygiene Practitioner

Hello! I’m Michelle Foster, though you can call me Foss or Foster.

Originally from the Lower Mainland, I’ve called Fort St. John home since 2014, after earning my Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of British Columbia.

For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of serving the Peace Region as a dental hygienist in both private practices and dental hygiene clinics. In founding Fostering Smiles, I set out to offer accessible, quality care tailored to the unique needs of our community.

I bring a blend of clinical experience, ongoing education, and genuine passion to every appointment, providing personalized dental hygiene and professional-grade teeth whitening services in a welcoming, respectful environment.

At Fostering Smiles, care is guided by compassion, open-mindedness, and integrity. Your choice and comfort are always at the heart of what I do. My goal is to build lasting relationships through trust, honesty, and excellent care.

In 2024 and 2025, I was deeply honoured to receive the People’s Choice Award for Best Dental Hygienist in the Peace Region. A recognition that means the world to me because it comes directly from the community I care for.

When I’m not fostering smiles, you’ll often find me enjoying life in the great outdoors with friends, family, and pets. Whether it’s camping, hiking, curling, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing, I love making the most of all seasons and occasionally relaxing by a cozy fire.
