Katelyn Watson

Dental Hygiene Practitioner

Dental hygienist holding a sign that says plaque slayer in Fort St John

Katelyn Watson is a registered dental hygienist with eight years and counting of clinical experience and strong roots in the Fort St. John community.

Born and raised in FSJ, Katelyn completed her dental hygiene diploma at the Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene and also holds a degree in Health Science. Nerdy in the best way, she brings a love of learning, strong clinical skills, and a by-the-book approach to every appointment — balanced with practicality and efficiency.

Katelyn is detail-oriented, thorough, and committed to providing care that meets the highest standards. Her calm, consistent approach and evidence-based care make her a trusted provider for both clients and colleagues.

Her values align closely with those of Fostering Smiles: integrity, excellence, and patient-centred care. She plays an important role in helping the clinic deliver reliable, high-quality dental hygiene services to the community.

Outside of the clinic, Katelyn enjoys unwinding with board games, spending time with her family, and learning more about health, finance and the environment — a reflection of her thoughtful, curious nature both at work and at home.
